Cinema Systers uplifts the visions and voices of lesbian filmmakers by providing a dedicated space to publicly highlight their art amid a decidedly lesbian-centric vibe. In November 2013, UNESCO designated Paducah a UNESCO Creative City for its significant role in the connectivity of cultures through creativity. Located in western Kentucky, Paducah has an anti-discrimination ordinance aimed to protect the LGBTQ+ community. Following screenings, smart and engaging panels add to the experience. From Thursday, May 26 until Sunday, May 29, filmmakers present their work with screenings. The only all lesbian film festival in the country, Cinema Systers returns to the small town of Paducah, Kentucky for Memorial Day weekend. Manchester Pride is a charity and the cost of a Gay Village Party ticket helps Manchester Pride deliver a safe, community pride celebration. Manchester Pride holds licenses to host celebrations in certain areas of the Gay Village, and your Gay Village Party ticket includes access to these stages and programmed areas including Sackville Gardens, MancUnity Stage and the Cabaret Stage. The Gay Village Party is our only ticketed event, meaning that Manchester Pride's programmed areas within the Gay Village, such as our performance stages and event spaces, require a ticket to attend.
